About Megan
Megan Lee is a former New Zealand Football Fern, qualified OFC C license coach, and performance specialist with over 15 years of experience. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Science (Kinesiology), bringing a strong evidence-based approach to player development.
Megan’s coaching philosophy centres on smarter training — focusing on movement quality, decision-making, confidence, and game understanding. With experience across grassroots, youth, and performance environments, she is passionate about developing complete players and creating positive, high-quality football experiences.
Megan played in two U17 FIFA World Cups, one U20 FIFA World Cup, and represented New Zealand with 4 caps. She played college football in the United States for Louisiana State University, where she received 72 caps. After returning to New Zealand in 2022, she played for Western Springs Premier Women's team where they won the Kate Shepherd Cup final in 2023, and were runners up in 2024.
